Quick post today in the mascara files. This post is sparked by some of the things I see on pinterest and just yell “NO DON’T DO THAT” on my phone. The thing in particular is a post I’ve seen a few times (I’m not going to link it) about how you should apply your mascara while your curler is clamped down on your lashes.
Guys. Don’t do this. In order to gain the best results from your mascara, you need to make sure you get the very base of your lashes! It’ll make your lashes look SO much longer and full of volume. Think about it, if you have your lash curler on while applying, you’re only going to get the very ends of your lashes.
To make sure you get the very base of your lashes, roll back your mascara brush! When you place your mascara brush on the underside of your lashes, roll the mascara brush back very slowly and carefully to get that much more of the base! It’s so simple! Just be careful not to poke yourself in the eye!
