My Revlon Lip Butters, Swatched For You!

Hi Friends!

Last week sometime I swatched all the Revlon Lip Butters I currently have so I can throw it up on here just in case anyone was debating buying some! I must say overall they’re a really great product, I’ve used up at least one full tube already. They’re sheer, good for a nice flush of colour, the finish of them are frosted, and they do not dry out your lips at all. I wouldn’t consider them moisturizing, but they certainly do not dry them out. With that said, lets move on to the swatches!

Sugar Frosting, Gumdrop, Strawberry Shortcake, Creamscicle, Sugar Plum

So, in the tube they’re gorgeous colours, they won’t come out super pigmented on the lips, but they are somewhat buildable.

Sugar frosting is fun. It’s light, simple, good if you do not want a whole lot of colour but you want a little bit of shimmer. It’s a fairly standard colour that definitely exists in other brands, but the texture of the lip butter makes it worth the buy.

Gumdrop is a fun lavender that leaves a beautiful tint on the lips. It’s hard to really tell in this picture how much it stands out. It’s truly beautiful. Out of these here, this one is my favourite.

Strawberry Shortcake is a bright pink, but it isn’t overpowering. I find this one is great for a summer day when I’m not wearing a lot of makeup.

When I bought creamsicle, I expected it to look different on the lips. To me it’s more of a nude than a light orange due to its overall lack of pigment, but it is still really pretty on. Out of those I own, this one is my least favourite. However, it does still get used.

Sugar Plum is usually the first lipstick I go to when the leaves start to change colour. As soon as fall strikes, I want to wear this all the time. This tube is almost all gone. It’s not nearly as deep on as in the tube, but this one definitely has the most buildable colour so you can get it much darker than this!

The other colour I love from Revlon Lip Butter that I’m all out of at the moment is Cotton Candy. It’s a bright pink that is definitely more blue-based than yellow. It has a similar effect to Gumdrop where it just seems to pop on my skin. When I get more, I’ll definitely swatch it and make a post about it! That and Gumdrop are probably tied for my favourites.
